Riding from the age of 2, Emily has been lucky enough to have a selection of ponies to enjoy, produce, educate & learn from and always thrived to give them a variety of work across a range of disciplines. Emily has had so many successes over the years representing the South Northumberland Pony Club at National Championships across Sj, dressage, Eventing and tetrathlon, both on teams and individuals and finishing with many placings and Podium finishes.
Emily loved to show from LR FR Nov & open 12-14hh all of which she trained as allrounder away from the show ring. Aged 11, she developed a real love for WHP following the purchase of Milltop Princess Royal travelling the country jumping qualifying tracks with many successes & evening performances and also ventured into the Tetrathlon world.
Following the purchase of Marty when she was age 13yr emily produced him through the ranks from a novice to extremely successful 15hh open. Together they have travelled the country jumping the hardest WHP tracks. Top placing finishes include RIHS Hickstead, Burghley, Northern England Tetrathlon, Hoys Qualifiers, National Championships for both Showing & Pony Club, as well as so many county level championships & winner of the BSPS Area 1A points league.

Emily is also currently slowly producing the families 1st Homebred ‘Stanley Brae Sweet William’ and is excited for their journey ahead.
On foot, Emily has represented BSPS young judges teams since age of 13yr with group & ind placings for both plaited & heritage. During covid she decided to concentrate on her education and has done astonishing passing all PC & BHS exams at the minimum age required and on some being the youngest anyone has passed them. She continues her education and has a goal by 25yr to be awarded her BHS Fellowship.
Whilst emily continues to further her education & build her clientele of coaching & schooling clients across a range of disciplines.

Annie Davidson
The youngest member of the Stanley Brae team has followed in her sisters footsteps since the age 2yr. Definitely the adrenaline junky of the family, whilst the rest of us have struggled to keep up on hunt rides & out training with her since she was 4 years old. Having had some of Emily’s ponies passed down, Annie has also been given the opportunity from a very early age to start, produce & put her own stamp on her own rides. Representing SNPC on teams from the age of 6yr for dressage & Tetrathlon. By the age of 9yr she qualified for PC regional champs in all disciplines of Eventing, Dressage, SJ, being the youngest team member & only one to have qualified in all teams. She had great success at the championships also being the youngest member there.
Annie was on the Show ring by 2yr but we struggled to keep her on the LR for long & by 4yr she was seeking the biggest WHP tracks she could find, shortly after she was heading into the open tracks with a selection of ponies. Having spent the last 2yrs producing her novices which she has now started to compete alongside her open, she has ventured out into the BE world, now that she has reached the min age. She has also joined BD picking up top placings and points from the start and hopes to explore BD Youth over the next few months.
Annie is such an important asset to the Stanley Brae team, with her calming influence around horses both on the ground & ridden. She enjoys working with the smaller schooling liveries under the supervision of Kellie & Emily both BHS level 3 coaches (BHSAI) and more so the enjoyment & progression owner & pony have once the ponies return home.
Annie is working her way through the PC Exam system & is training hard to continue her BHS exams now that she is at minimum age. In Summer 2023, Ann passed her PC C+riding & care at minimum age 13yr anied her BHS Stage 2 at min age 14yr care ride lunge.
